Some days: I wake up, get out of bed, grab a cup of coffee and lounge around the house in my favourite torn up jammies and my dirty Hello Kitty slippers. The thing about the media is they try to lead you to believe that taking a break from putting on your makeup just isn't acceptable. I'm here to tell you that they're wrong! Sometimes us women just need a break whether it be for one day or three days. And to be quite honest wearing makeup every single day of your life will ruin that pretty little complexion of yours. But, if you're like me I have a very hard time taking a break from my makeup because my makeup is my security blanket. Without my makeup I don't feel as invincible as I do with the makeup on. So, if you're in the situation I'm in then obviously there has to be a way to cut out the normal amount of makeup you put on your face on a daily basis and still keep your skin healthy. There IS a way!!! This trick is going to tie in my favourite product: rice powder. Instead of using your regular concealer and all that jazz your going to apply the rice powder to your entire face. Now, I know you're going to think I'm crazy but don't even bother picking up that eyeshadow brush because you're not going to need it for this tutorial. Shocking isn't it?!? Anyway, Instead of applying your usual concealer and eyeshadow we're just going to put a small amount of mascara to the top and bottom lash line and then apply whatever blush you normally use.
PRESTO!!! you're finished and ready to lounge around or do whatever it is you like to do when you're feeling lazy! (:
I used this trick today and I still got my usual amount of compliments so step out of your boundaries and give it a try!!
