Although here in Columbia SC it doesn't seem to feel like fall yet I'm quite sure that it'll be here soon. Beautiful colors everywhere or something like that! All I really know is when the beautiful colors do come I'll be inspired just like every other year. Actually, the other day I decided to be brave , go on the whim , and mix and match a light pink with an red sort of color. Sounds gross through text but if you were to see what it you'd know that it's pretty awesome!! To my surprise the colors blended very well. I used the usual Q-tip to do the blending and a little bit of concealer to fix up the outside edges. The great thing about this look is the light pink really brings out the light red eyeshadow. It makes it sort of 'POP' as they might say in the fashion world.
Here's how to do it:
Eyeshadow-
The light pink will be applied from the eyebrow bone down to the lower lash line. Make sure you get it even now!! Because if you don't it'll look pretty bad. Trust me here people!!
You'll apply the red in the crease of your eye with the angled eyeshadow brush.
(Do this in a back and forth motion)
Blend the red in to the pink with a Q-tip for a more dramatic effect (in an upward motion)
Mascara- Applying the brand I always use, the falsies by maybeline, to the lower and upper eyelash line this will make the colors of the eyeshadow 'POP' even more.
Add a little brown blush and some light pink lipstick and you're ready to rock and roll :)
